Materials Needed for Part 4
You will need a G/6 4.0 mm hook, your main bear color (Color A), stitch markers, polyfil, and scissors. Just a quick reminder, I use my stitch markers for remembering which stitch is my first stitch in the round since we work in continuous rounds without joining. I also use the stitch markers to count my rounds when there are several rounds of the same amount of stitches.
Body: Worked in Continuous Rounds
Rnd 1: Using G hook and Color A; create a MC; 6 SC in MC. (6 sts)
Rnd 2: 2 SC in each st around. (12 sts)
Rnd 3: *SC in the next st; 2 SC in the next st.* Repeat around. (18 sts)
Rnd 4: *SC in the next 2 sts; 2 SC in the next st.* Repeat around. (24 sts)
Rnd 5: *SC in the next 3 sts; 2 SC in the next st.* Repeat around. (30 sts)
Rnd 6: *SC in the next 4 sts; 2 SC in the next st.* Repeat around. (36 sts)
Rnds 7-12: SC in each st around. (36 sts) (6 total rounds)
Rnd 13: *SC in the next 4 sts; sc2tog.* Repeat around. (30 sts)
Rnds 14-15: SC in each st around. (30 sts) (2 total rounds)
****Start Stuffing.****
Rnd 16: *SC in the next 3 sts; sc2tog.* Repeat around. (24 sts)
Rnds 17-20: SC in each st around. (24 sts) (4 total rounds)
Rnd 21: *SC in the next 2 sts; sc2tog.* Repeat around. (18 sts)
Rnds 22-23: SC in each st around. (18 sts) (2 total rounds)
****Continue Stuffing.****
Rnd 24: *SC in the next st; sc2tog.* Repeat around. (12 sts)
Rnds 25-26: SC in each st around. (12 sts) (2 total rounds)
Sl st to the next st to FO with a 6” tail.
****Finish Stuffing.****
