Meet Isla! This mermaid is ready for all kinds of adventures with your little one! You can personalize your mermaid anyway you would like. I included the hairstyle I did but as you will see with my testers they also played around and came up with very unique hairstyles. My daughter Bella inspired how I designed her hair because my daughter used to wear pigtails all the time. She loved the mermaids braids but thinks next time her braids should be longer! Be creative and find the hairstyle that you think your mermaid should have!

When I used to just be a crochet maker, I loved making mermaids! They were always a big hit at a craft fair! I knew I wanted to design my own mermaid. I had actually thought about doing that the last few years. I am very excited to have accomplished that goal. This is just the beginning for our mermaid collection we hope to have. I want to design a lot of different ideas for our mermaid collection. Each mermaid, as you will see in this post, all have different personalities! This is the 2nd pattern we are releasing today. Isla is a premium pattern, and available for purchase on Ravelry, Etsy, and Ribblr.

I want to thank my two testers! I am so blessed they were able to test both the lovey/security blanket and the mermaid amigurumi!

Look at this sweet mermaid! Who wouldn’t want to play with her! I love how creative her hair looks! Anja Harrington did a great job! You can check out all her photos here on Ravelry. It was a joy to work with her, and I look forward to working with her again in the future!

This mermaid also turned out so well! Another different super cute hairstyle! I also the pooling she did with the body! You can check out all of her photos here on Ravelry! I thank May Fong for testing the pattern for me as well. She was also a joy to work with, and I look forward to working with her in the future as well!

Here is also another picture Anja took of the mermaid and the lovey together! If you would like to purchase both together, you can do so here. By doing so you will save a little bit!
