Keychains are some of the easiest and quickest projects to make for craft fairs and Christmas presents. If you are a product seller, you would love to make many of these in different colors in a couple of hours and have a good size inventory to sell at markets and craft shows this holiday season.
Plus, this pattern is so quick and easy to make up for Christmas presents for either your child’s teacher, co-workers, or your children. They make excellent stocking stuffers too. October is the time to start making Christmas presents. Have you started making Christmas presents or purchasing Christmas presents yet?

Sl St does not count as a stitch throughout the pattern.
Repeat stitches between * and * around.
Alternative to MC – Ch 2; work number of SC specified in the 2nd chain from the hook.
Pattern Instructions:
Rnd 1: Create MC; 4 SC in MC. (4 sts)
Rnd 2: 2 SC in each st around. (8 sts)

Rnd 12: SC in each st around in the back loop of sl st from round 11. Sl st to FO. This can be tricky! There are photo tutorials in my PDF version which you can purchase by clicking here.
Using the needle, weave the tail in and out of the front loops to close the hole.
With contrasting color of your choice, embroider eyes from Rounds 4-6 with 3 sts between each eye. Embroider mouth between Rounds 8 & 10.
