Design Inspiration:
I have been wanting to add blankets to pattern designs for a while now. This lovely ladybug blanket is the first one of our blanket designs. If you remember, last year, I released the Gigi Love Bug Security blanket. It is one of the Free patterns still available on the blog, with a premium upgrade. I used that design to inspire this one. This sweet lady beetle blanket is made using the hexagon shape. The spots are made in the round flat instead of raised spot.
This sweet blanket is being modeled by one of my best friend’s daughters, which I thank her for allowing me to use her sweet baby as the model. This adorable blanket can be used as a picnic blanket, or put it on the floor for your sweet little ones to play with tummy time. It can also be used as a photo prop. Also, your girls could use the blanket to play with their dolls as well.
